About this Safeguarding course
At Calne based Wiltshire First Aid Training we believe this is an extremely important course and that it should be delivered in a classroom where learning is gained from each other through discussion and experience. Trainers for this course have a police background and possess investigative skills and abilities as well as experience working with social services and child victims of abuse.​
This course is for those working with under 18’s, in paid employment or as a volunteer. The course provides those working with children and young people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise and respond to cases of alleged or suspected abuse. This qualification will enable the candidate to undertake a specific role in the workplace that employers can rely on.

A nationally recognised accredited Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People (RQF).

Candidates will sit a 15-question multiple choice assessment paper.

No more than 12-delegates.
Cost
Group bookings for up to 12 candidates £550 plus VAT. This price includes a Safeguarding manual and certification.
