Keeping absenteeism in the workplace down
Absenteeism from the workplace is often due to injuries sustained from the incorrect handling and moving of loads. This qualification may protect employers from potential litigation if an injury should occur to an employee. It provides employees with the competence, knowledge and awareness to their own safety through risk assessment and controls available.

After successful completion a candidate will receive a nationally recognised certificate in Principles of Manual Handling and is valid for two years

This is a 2 hour course, it is recommended this qualification is refreshed every two years
