Two day first aid at work requalification

This two-day (12 hours) course is intended for those who hold a First Aid at Work certificate and need to re-qualify to continue to perform the role of first aider in the workplace. It is designed to update first aid procedures and refresh knowledge and skills. The completion of the course will enable the individual to respond to an accident or illness and gain confidence to deal with a potential emergency. A current first aid certificate (or 28 days after expiry) must be held by the candidate and evidence of this will need to be shown to the trainer on the first day of the course. This course complies with the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations of 1981.

This course also includes defibrillator awareness training

In February 2024 the HSE updated their guidelines on Mental Health Awareness in the workplace, there is now an increased focus on the employer’s responsibility to account for the mental health of their employees within their first aid needs assessment. Wiltshire First Aid Training provides a course in first aid for mental health.

Course reviews

"Many of us may dread the time to refresh or attend First Aid training... well after this training, you won't feel that again. The trainer through Wiltshire First Aid was tip top. She was engaging, knowledgeable, fun, enthusiastic and kept to time. Questions were answered and everyone was included. I really 'learnt' about delivering good first aid."
