Paediatric blended learning
At Wiltshire First Aid Training we offer a 12hr paediatric blended first aid course. This course also meets the requirements of Ofsted, Department for Education and EYFS but the difference with this course compared to the 12-hour Paediatric First Aid course is 6-hours is based in the classroom and 6-hours of the theoretical part of the course is completed as study online at a time to suit you.

This is a popular choice and beneficial for both beginners and those who have attended numerous paediatric first aid courses in the past and wish to refresh their knowledge and skills. Completion of the online part can be done at a time and pace to suit you and has lots of useful resources that are downloadable.
We also appreciate the potential cost implications incurred when there is abstraction from your normal place of work and therefore a paediatric blended course may be of greater benefit to you. The online part is completed prior to the face-to-face session, which has been approved by the First Aid Industry Body. Work can be saved so it doesn't have to be completed in one sitting.
Certification
Wiltshire First Aid Training will provide an Ofsted and EYFS compliant and First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) approved Paediatric First Aid certificate on successful completion of the course. This will enable candidates to perform the role of first aider at your setting for three years.
Who should attend?
Nursery workers, child minders, preschool staff, and after school club staff. Those working in an early years' sector looking after young infants and children.

We can also combine this course with our Emergency First Aid at Work so candidates are qualified to deal with adult and paediatric emergencies. More info contact the office on 01249 569690 or email admin@wiltshirefirstaid.co.uk.
